(Hots) Suresh Raina himself revealed the real reason for leaving IPL 2020, he will not be seen in the 13th season
Suresh Raina will not play in IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Suresh Raina has withdrawn from the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) citing personal reasons. He returned to India from United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday morning and was quarantined at his home in New Delhi. Quarantine is a must upon returning from abroad. There was much speculation on his return to India. Suresh Raina told Dainik Jagran that children are the most important.
Raina is the father of four-year-old daughter Gracia and five-month-old son Rio. There is no doubt that he loves his children very much and can leave everything for him. Raina is also right to take this decision after 13 people, including two CSK players, are corona positive. After this, many more players can take such a decision. CSK retained Raina for Rs 11 crore.
Raina’s uncle Ashok Kumar was killed in the attack
CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan had earlier tweeted that Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will not be available for the remainder of the IPL season. CSK will extend full support to Suresh and his family during this period. Raina retired from international cricket on 15 August. There has been a recent disaster in Raina’s family. On the 19th, the robbers entered and attacked Raina’s aunt’s house in Pathankot. Raina’s uncle Ashok Kumar was killed in the attack, while his aunt Asha Devi is on a ventilator.

Gaikwad has been a member of the India-A team for some time. This player has scored a lot in Ranji Trophy. The team has extended the quarantine period to 1 September after 13 positive cases of Kovid-19 were reported. A source associated with the CSK camp said, ‘Suresh’s absence will be a major setback for CSK. He is one of the biggest players in IPL.
Tournament not in danger: Although there is no threat to IPL yet, questions have started coming up after 13 people of CSK are corona positive. The BCCI official said, “If there are 13 cases in just one team, then it is an issue for everyone.” The biggest aspect will be whether the foreign cricketers will get nervous now because they are more vigilant about these issues. We have to monitor the mental health of the players. This 13th season of IPL starts in the UAE on 19 September due to increasing cases of Kovid-19 in India.
